Meet Augusto Pedraza.

Augusto Pedraza is a theater and filmmaker. Through dance, theater, film, visual art and music, he speaks about themes of origin, identity, love, pessimism, violence and hope.

If you’ve joined us before, you know Last Month Tonight is no formal showing. It’s a casual gathering where we exchange on artistic questions, joined by food, drinks and good company.

Meet Joshua Serafin. They’re currently in residency joined by Lukresia Quismundo, Bunny Cadag and their team as they’re working on PEARLS.

Meet Arthur.

Graduated with a Master’s in Drama, Arthur now works on TETRAPTYCH, a series of abstract monologues that aims to put the four fundamental emotions of human beings on stage in all their completeness.

During her stay at wpZimmer, Kinga took on two ongoing projects: she worked on the technical and visual research for her BRUT project which is to premiere in March 2024; and she began to develop a new work ‘Raw Tender’ which was commisioned by Marres, house for contemporary culture in Maastricht.

New in residency are performer and performance artist Marthe Koning and interdisciplinary artist Princess Isatu Hassan Bangura. During their stay at wpZimmer, they’re dedicating their time to unravel their current ongoing project “The Happy Project”.

Meet Rodrigo Batista and Mariana Senne, both in residency at wpZimmer until November 19th. Throughout his work, Rodrigo holds onto the ambition to create theatre performances that function as unapologetic aesthetic statements addressed to geopolitical contexts.

On Mobilisation is the result of four organisations: wpZimmer (Antwerp), Studio ALTA (Prague), Baltic Art Center (Gotland), Lavanderia a Vapore (Turin) and six invited artists  : Danae Theodoridou, Ahilan Ratnamohan, Marika Smreková, Kalle Brolin, Elisabetta  Consonni and Daniele Ninarello and associated partners ARIA and GRASS joining their knowledge, hands-on experience, spaces and communities to focus on social/community mobilisation through artistic processes.

Meet Lucia Palladino.

Brussels-based transdisciplinary artist and researcher, and currently in residency at wpZimmer for 3 weeks as she works on her research project ‘The Forest_’. This project takes a look at verbal language from an ontological point of view.
