Unison

In Unison werkt Cecilia Lisa Eliceche met een van de meest rigoureuze concepten binnen de dans: het simultaan uitvoeren van dezelfde beweging door verschillende dansers. Maar wat suggereert het concept van het unisono eigenlijk? Wat is het politieke of zelfs feministische potentieel van dit idee? Eliceche vraagt zich af of we aan de hand van dit formeel instrument kunnen herdenken hoe we het ‘samenzijn’ in onze samenleving ervaren. Als een geheimzinnig maar nauwkeurig ritueel speelt de voorstelling met de dansgeschiedenis en folkloristische tradities. Het strakke minimalisme van de choreografie wordt verweven met complexe relaties, wat onze fysieke ervaring van samenzijn op een subtiele manier belicht.
