During the next two weeks, Charlotte Nagel will work on her ecofeminist musical ‘Sincery Yours’ which plays with the codes of pop music to subvert them, starting from an embodied necessity and a sincere political positioning.

For two weeks, artist and researcher Christina Stadlbauer will be joined by Bartaku Vandeput and Bach Nguyen to work on “Diversifying and Locating Relocation”. Starting from the question “What does a “real” engagement, a true encounter with our environment mean?” ,they dive into reflections on non-hierarchical ´hybrid communities’, ecological equality, the principles of diversity and symbiosis, holobionts, entanglements and a critical exploration of colonial values that are engrained in our way of seeing the world.
From today on, we are joined by dancer, choreographer and visual artist Tuur Marinus for a one week residency at wpZimmer. During his stay, he’ll be focussing on TH LNG GDBY – an elegantly clumsy dance-music hybrid that is both a tribute as well as a meditative moment.
For the upcoming two weeks we are joined by artist and researcher Lore D selys. During her residency at wpZimmer she’ll be who’ll be collaboratingwith Miha Brebnel and Phyllis Köhler on Mereologies. Read more about the residency here!
This week we welcomed Samah Hijawi for a two-week residency at wpZimmer where she’ll be focussing on “Chasing Za’atar – from Jordan to Belgium”. While in residency, Samah invites you for a sharing moment on Thursday, February 10 at 18:00 for a moment of sharing food and conversations around daily, practices of resistance in relation to food making. For the upcoming two weeks we are joined by dancer and choreographer Elena Carvajal and visual artist and dancer Maïte Álvarez as they work on The Underground and the Portal. The work is an experiment on the creation of an almost fictional almost real installation-space. In where, movement, voice, sound, visitors, chance… fluctuate.
