fyllenia grigoriou

fyllenia grigoriou, also knows as trentebisous, is a transdisciplinary dance artist and performer whose work bridges dance, sound, psychology and language. Based in Antwerp, she graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp in 2021 with a BFA in dance, followed by an MFA in dance and embodied artistic research at deSingel in 2023. Her practice explores the politics of improvisation and the psychology of language, utilizing choreographic devices, poetic performatives and live electronics to create immersive work. fyllenia has collaborated with notable artists such as Alain Platel, Bérengère Bodin, Hannah De Meyer, Nein Arts organisation and Efi Birba. Contributing to performances as a dancer, researcher and dramaturg. Her residency experiences span across Europe, including the White Garage Gallery in Catania, Sicily, where her collaboration with sound artists Anton Lambert established. She has performed at numerous festivals, including ARTICULATE festival in Antwerp, Zomer in de Kloostertuin (Antwerp) and Konvooi Festival in Bruges. fyllenia is currently part of the teaching team at the Wisper Organisation in Belgium and continues her artistic collaborations with visual artist Nazanin Fakoor and performance researcher Danae Theodoridou.
