During a 6 week residency in wpZimmer , Antwerp (BE), the collective Affective_log invites to self-organize collectively by initiating work sessions, skill sharing, leisure time, reading sessions, sonic digressions and discussions on internal maintenance & care work of existing and aspiring feminist server projects . We will engage in physical performative body exercises, developing an audio interface/software/service with chatbots and prompt for collective meetings, install, configure feminist data practices, explore hard, soft & wet ware devices, do sound&video&data improvisations, …

RECLAIM OUR PRIDE
June 2025 

On 7th of june a local group calls the lgtbqa*/queer community for a protest march addressing the pinkwashing & capitalism of the official Antwerp pride.[RECLAIM OUR PRIDE] 

‘As [AFFECTIVE LOG] we support their action! We will join them in their open mic and call our allies to come down to Antwerp and to express together the technofeminist voice to resist the matrix of domination and shortcircuit patriarchal and neoliberal technologies. On Thursday the 5th of June we screen in the presence of ai carmela (feminist ninja), a video essay on cyberfeminism, hacker class and transfeminist hack. The free contribution will be redistributed to reclaim Our pride. Saturday after the march 7th of June our [/TMP] dormitory can host people to stay over. Sunday June 8 we will have brunch together accompanied by some improvised sound & data & hardware praxis. The nurenberg friends of wenginq we crossed in chaos communication congress, will come with their Nail Factory‘

T_cyberhol

Local initiative that is hosted in wpzimmer for a workshop Build our own DIY beamer with ellis. In the following weekend we will introduce feminist servers, self-hosting, free and open source software. During 2 days meetup we plan hybrid sessions, hands-on practice and initiations in system administration skills
