‘Being lost in the world’ is a starting point of a research where objects and human bodies blur into each other, proposing another being. Blab is a performance work where Sonja Jokiniemi investigate a fragmented and chaotic experience of show-orientated reality. The proposition suggests immersion, synaesthesia and sensorial mutualism between inanimate things and human actors in order to create third beings and propose different forms of co-existence.

The logic of the work is situated in incoherence, dissociative and transcendent qualities. In the research Sonja attempts to create synthesis between the different materials at stake. The work is a continuation of her quest on inner logics and subjective experiences that unfold worlds in a broader sense; looking at languages escaping definitions, neuro and psychodiverse perception patterns and poetic dimensions of reality.
