PROJECT

Shifting Landscape/A Mary Wigman Dance Evening (2009)

During his studies at P.A.R.T.S. Fabián worked on the (re)construction of Mary Wigmans Schwingende Landschaft, a dance cycle consisting of seven solos. Fabián plays three of them in his show Shifting Landscape.

In the course of 2009, Fabián has also put the other four pieces on stage. The focus has shifted from reconstruction to creation. After all, no image or sound material is available of the last four solos. Therefore, Fabián has been dependent on written documents and oral testimonials. The entire series of solos premiered in October 2009 under the name A Mary Wigman Dance Evening during Amperdans.
