Avoiding the camera

During their time at wpZimmer, the duo, in collaboration with Tuur Marinus, have been developing new exercises that take the phrase Avoiding the camera as their starting point. Working with both video and stills cameras, they have been developing scenarios that result in videos, photo series and live performance.

Test exercise: Tuur Marinus avoiding the camera for one minute.
Test exercise: A game of two teams, in which the ‘Green team’ try to collaborate with the camera operator to get two of their team in the shot at all times, while the ‘Red team’ aim to disrupt this by adding a third person to the frame.
