Six promising dance-makers from Europe and Asia meet for the first \ntime in Antwerp. They spend ten days in the studio, finding out if and \nhow they can work together. Can they make their cultural background and \npersonal perspective compatible with someone else\u2019s? On Dance Day their \nencounters come together in a diverse mix of hip-hop, traditional dance,\n queer action, contemporary dance and lounge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On April 19th, the blind dates were given a face: Pieter Ampe<\/strong> (Belgium), Bunny Cadag <\/strong>(Philippines), Chankethya Chey<\/strong> (Cambodia), Nuria Guiu Sagarra<\/strong> (Spain), Tian Rotteveel<\/strong> (The Netherlands) and Noutnapha Soydala<\/strong> (Laos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Arco Renz selected the artists, together with wpZimmer, and he will guide the process.
