{"id":8014,"date":"2023-02-08T10:46:26","date_gmt":"2023-02-08T09:46:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpzimmer.be\/?post_type=news&#038;p=8014"},"modified":"2023-09-11T22:43:18","modified_gmt":"2023-09-11T20:43:18","slug":"the-word-is-out-introducing-on-mobilisation","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/wpzimmer.be\/en\/news\/the-word-is-out-introducing-on-mobilisation\/","title":{"rendered":"The word is out: Introducing On Mobilisation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After months of collective writing and collaborating, we can finally let the word out&#8230; Supported through the Creative Europe programme, wpZimmer, Baltic Art Center, Studio ALTA, Lavanderia a Vapore, ARIA and GRASS present the collaborative, ongoing project: <strong><em>On Mobilisation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Supported and co-funded by the European Union, On Mobilisation is a running project joining different partners and inviting artists for a transnational collaboration with the main objective to respond to the need for transnational creation and circulation of knowledge and capacity building. Starting in April and continuing over the coming two years, wpZimmer, Baltic Art Centre, Studio ALTA, Lavanderia a Vapore, ARIA and GRASS as well as the invited artists: Kalle Brolin, Elisabetta Consonni, Daniele Ninarello, Ahilan Ratnamohan, Marika Smrekov\u00e1 and Danae Theodoridou, propose a softly guided frame for participation, in a peer-to-peer dynamic, contributing to the ongoing demand for elementary equality, social fairness and empowerment. The project creates an informal and inclusive model of learning within culture, stimulating exchange, activating citizens, developing audience and by that opening up a connection to other social spheres and domains that were inaccessible before. During the project, 7 artistic residencies, 4 evening schools, 4 transnational symposia and 2 transnational exhibitions are unraveled, as well as 2 publications, a vocabulary and an \u2018On Mobilization\u2019 Toolkit are produced and made available on the website that will be published during Spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are currently working on setting up the frameworks and models that\u2019ll facilitate this project.
