RESIDENCY

Together with her artistic team lightartist Caroline Mathieu (she/her, BE) develops LUMINAL*, an immersive installation exploring the relationship between light, color and the audience.

LUMINAL* envelops the audience in a total experience of light, where color, scenography, (spoken) audio, and non-verbal actions invite the public to a (more) conscious, multi-sensory perception of color.

During the residency at wpZimmer, the team investigates the boundaries of scenography: in what ways can the infinity of light and color be evoked in space? What kind of form might suggest the absence of form? And how might interaction with audio, voice-over, and performers entice the audience to let go of their sense of spatial awareness and step into this boundlessness?
