Radouan Mriziga

Radouan Mriziga was born in Marrakesh, Morocco. Radouan started taking contemporary dance classes in Marrakesh at age of eighteen. Since 2005 he is in continues formation in a bodywork with Jacques Garros (Centre Lafaurie Monbadon, Bordeaux). In 2006 he went to Tunisia to study dance at the CMDC (Mediterranean Center of Contemporary Dance). After this, he continued his movement studies in France through different workshops and classes. From 2008 until 2012 he studied in P.A.R.T.S, Brussels. Since 2008 he is based and working as a dancer/maker in Brussels, Belgium. He co-created and performed the piece 111-1, together with José Paulo Dos Santos, Mohamed Toukabri, Radouan Mriziga and Youness Khoukhou. He worked with Bart Meuleman/Toneelhuis in Half elf zomeravond, was part of the piece Re:Zeitung, (Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker) and worked for Claire Croize and Simon Tangy (Action Scenique) in their new dance productions. In 2014 he is a resident artist at Moussem Nomadic Art Centre where he created his first solo performance 55.
