Coupé Décalé
Coupé Décalé (Justine François, Maïté Jeannolin and Charlotte Marchal) is a laboratory, an experimental curation project. Coupé Décalé is a meeting between three people coming respectively from dance, cinema and anthropology in the first place. From this meeting, others were born, between the arts and research in human sciences, between forms and audiences. Coupé Décalé invests in various places, programs and works that pay particular attention – aesthetically, culturally and socially – to movement, to the body, to gesture and from which transdisciplinary dialogues are woven. It is from all of these encounters that Coupé Décalé has drawn the material and the desire to produce its own sound and performative installations that allow heterogeneous ways of saying, doing and thinking to coexist.
