Amber Vanluffelen
Amber Vanluffelen is a Brussels based artist whose multifaceted practice includes performances, digital 3D images, poetry and installations. They move (with)in worlds that span across nightlife, anime, sports, video gaming and spiritual realms, gathering impressions with a carrier bag (Ursula K. Le Guin) that give rise to objects, images and moves as constellations. Using strategies derived from bootlegging and meta-fiction, enabling a condition of artifice, where referring to sources gives insight in the construction of a piece. Amber’s cross-medial practice is based on alternative forms of knowledge production and striving towards embodied experiences, where a certain narrative/idea is translated as a chain from one medium to another and form possible remnants of a world building gesture.
