Su Jung

Su Jung is a visual artist and a writer who currently lives and works in South Korea. She completed a MA in fine art at Chelsea College of Art and Design (London). She treats language as a device generating ambiguity and misunderstanding to underline that definition and value are also products flexibly coherent within a social and cultural structure. 

Her practice often discusses a vulnerable state of an individual who experiences confusion, contradiction and absence in the contemporary social environment; it deals with several existential symptoms such as doubt, denial, hypocrisy, stupidity and solitude appearing in one’s relationship with the external world.
