OpenHouse #6 | Sep 2014

Sunday, September 7th, from 1 to 6 pm

Twice a year, you can discover a variety of what grows and blossoms in a workspace for the contemporary arts. And although the weather gods can of course cause some delay, we will respond to them appropriately with the explosive project Big Fat Failed Beginnings. Have a taste of the homemade natural disasters that Gosie Vervloessem, Naomi Kerkhove and Wendy Van Wynsberghe will prepare for you. And be touched by T-Dance, an inventive choreography by Vera Tussing. The ideal warm-up for Het Theaterfestival later that day!

Domestic Science Club: Big Fat Failed Beginnings
feat. Gosie Vervloessem, Naomi Kerkhove & Wendy Van Wynsberghe

An explosive ongoing workshop-performance-installation where natural disasters are recreated with simple domestic means. The programme runs continuously between 1 and 6 pm. At 2 pm there will be a workshop on cosmology. At 5pm follows a wrap, looking behind the scenes of The Domestic Science Club!

Vera Tussing: T-Dance

An inventive choreography that explores the many different ways in which we are interconnected. At 4 pm in the studio.

A parcours with works and interventions by Charlotte Bouckaert, Hans Demeulenaere, Emi Kodama, Gabriel Lester, Marc Nagtzaam, Navid Nuur, Ellen Schroven and Joke Van den Heuvel

!!! Due to the change in programme caused by the hailstorm in June, the Geografiek parcours will be presented on location in Brussels on the 12th and 13th of September from 6 to 10 pm. Address: Slotstraat 17, 1000 Brussels. More info here.
